First Container Shipment Arrives in Kabul

Our first container shipment arrived in Kabul in April 2009 and items were sent directly to Logar Province, Afghanistan, where our donations of warm clothing, shoes, toiletries and other essential items were most desperately needed. Our second container shipment will probably leave the US in early June and we will begin to fill another!
Every shipment includes a message inscribed in both Dari, the local language, and English that says,
“A gift to you from the people of America. Let us work toward peace together.”
