We are reaching out to people . . . asking your help to continue the noble cause of helping the Afghan women and orphans become self-sufficient. Your monetary contributions will help us purchase clothing, especially winter clothing and shoes so desperately needed during the brutally cold long winter months in Afghanistan, toiletries and other essential items.

Since HAWP’s first meeting in July 2004 to determine how to structure this non-profit organization, we have shipped well over 20,000 pounds of clothing and much needed items. That’s about 4,000 pounds per year! We know we are making a difference in the lives of so many Afghan women and children!

The bottom line is that we get immediate results. We are able to accomplish so much because we go directly to the people in Afghanistan to provide them with goods and services. There are no middlemen or organizations. There are no administrative costs because there are no paid positions in HAWPsm. Volunteers give freely of their time on all projects in the USA and Afghanistan. We also focus on creating goodwill in Afghanistan on behalf of the American people.

Your contributions assist HAWP in buying supplies for the jewelry-making, rug-making, clothing and other crafts the women are creating. These women are so proud of the beautiful work they are doing with your help!
