Our Mission:
Helping Afghan Women Project (HAWP) is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization founded in September 2004. Our mission is two-fold -- to empower Afghan women to become self-sufficient, first by meeting their basic needs, then, through education and skills training, while creating goodwill for the American people at the same time.
